COLF Outreach:
A Resource for the Broken

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light...

Jail Ministry

Franklin Cty -Women

Volunteers and staff teach a Christian 12-step program in the Franklin County workhouse. We love the opportunity to bring truth and hope, and to build relationships that continue for years and can help lead women to freedom. Don't believe it works? Check out Elaine’s story: here! Then, come join us to give hope and help to others by clicking the link above!

Come join us on the journey to give our lives away!

Mark 10:45

It is truly “...more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35) and “...whosoever will lose his life for My sake will find it” (Matthew 16:25). The more we give, the more we find Jesus to be true and sufficient for all of our needs, and the more we can give to a world that is just as hurting and broken as we were. Come join us on the journey!

Prison Ministry

Marysville Women's Reformatory

As we get to know men and women through the jail outreach, we find that some have longer/prison sentences. We seek to be a voice of hope and encouragement through writing and visiting, then help connect them with resources (whether our home or others) as they exit.

City Street

RESCUE Street Ministries

Sullivant Avenue, Columbus

Beginning on Columbus’s Sullivant Avenue, this ministry seeks to simply build relationships with those living on the streets and offer prayer, hope, resources, and maybe a fresh donut or two, donated by generous local companies! We are always looking for ways to expand this ministry or partner with others loving those on the streets well.

Praying

Biblical Counseling

For individuals and couples

Often we'll meet a  man or woman who is struggling with a life-controlling problem, or who has just come to the end of their rope. Sometimes they can come stay with us for a while for discipleship and respite, but most often we will meet with them or connect them with other Biblical counselors to encourage them to live the best way - the way God laid out for us in His Word.

Community

(Coming home)

Home is a huge part of our heart. Every Tuesday night we host a family dinner, worship and prayer, and we do our best to make sure everyone we know is invited. We want to be a place where anyone who wants it (including us!) can be challenged and encouraged and pointed toward the Lord. Life is a tough journey and we want to do it well together down here until one day we can join Him in heaven!
